4 Things I don't want to Admit....

Alright, Patrice, over at Blessings Amid Chaos tagged me.

Can you imagine that someone would actually ask these things of me?!

I must admit 4 things I don't want to admit.
This will take some thought.

I'm sure my sisters could help me out with this by just remembering back to our childhood. I am drawing a complete blank.

Let me think......

1. I LOVE to read People magazine while waiting in the doctors office.
(I know - I'm terrible! Who really needs to know about those people in Hollywood! Most of them are twisted and bizarre but I just need to know!)

2. I would love to have my "girls" lifted back to where they should be. Gravity and pregnancy have taken a toll on my body.

3. I wish that someone would come to my house and do the fall cleaning. You know, clean the carpets, wash windows and window coverings. I just don't want to do it this year. I am known among my friends as the woman whose home is always clean and tidy. I just wish I wasn't the one doing all the work!

4. I won't leave the house without my hair and makeup done. I wish I could go out and not care but it is a hang up that I have.

Now you know.

Do you think any less of me?

Please, take my flaws and like me anyway!

Hugs!

I May Never Hear This Again!

This video made my day!

I was not able to get home to take my nap before picking up the girls from practice but while making supper Abby made a statement that I had to catch on video.

Now, that makes up for me having to go into work today!

I spent 6 hours count them.
SIX HOURS decorating cakes.
I don't know how many I did. I just know that they were all done when I left and I'll be heading in tomorrow to do some fill ins. I need to make 6 cake batter confettis and 3 cookies and cream.

Next week I can't get in much so I need to add some cakes to the back up freezer to fill in when I am gone. That way the kids can fill the display with cakes from the rear freezer and the display won't be empty when I return.

Time to get into my jammies and relax for the rest of the night.

Hugs!

My day off ...... NOT!

I was planning on taking today off.

You know.

Laying around the house.
Doing nothing.
Watching movies.
Eating bon bons.
Painting my toes.

Nothin'

That was the plan BEFORE I went into work yesterday.

The cake display looked pretty good but for some reason they were making cakes like crazy people. The girls don't usually make the cakes but they decided to "help" me out.

Now, wasn't that sweet of them?!

Sssoooo, now I get to go to work today.

Maybe tomorrow I will get the day off......

I don't want to make you gals feel like I hate my life.

I DON'T!

I just have not gotten to stay at home one day since before the kids got out of school last spring.

Seriously!

I have been gone everyday since May.

I. AM. TIRED!

My kids are too. I can see it. Abby was up until midnight last night doing homework because they had two basketball games last night that did not start until 6:30 in a town 45-60 minutes away. She was in a REALLY bad mood this morning. I sorta feel sorry for her teachers today except that two of them are the basketball coaches and they are the ones that scheduled the games in the first place! I am sure they are tired too. So, they can all be tired and in bad moods together :}

I am going to head into work in a few minutes. Bang out all the cakes that need to be done and come home to take a nap before picking up the girls from their practices.

I knew this year would be hard. With one in middle school and one in high school and both of them very sports minded.....we have practices or games Monday-Saturday. Next year, same sports same nights, same place.

Less stress, right?!

Ladies, enjoy those little 'uns now. You think that when they get older life gets easier.

IT. DOES. NOT!

Enjoy your day and let me know if you get a down day.

I love to live through my blogging buddies, because ya'll have a life!

At least I'll smell good when I get home from work ;}

Hugs!

The Dentist and his strange tools

I got to go to the dentist today.

Thanks right folks!
I enjoy going to the dentist.

This has not always been the case.
When I was young, I hated it.

Now, I count it a blessing to be able to chill in a chair without any guilt.

Today, I got to have fillings replaced in two teeth.

I was surprised when he said he was going to put a topical on first so that he could give me the shot to numb me up. I did not get this luxury when I was younger.

Bring it on Dr. Z!

I believe that he got to use each and every tool in his toolbox.

He pulled out one of his tools and I swear to you it was a mini hair dryer! It didn't push any air out but it looked just like a dryer. No idea what it was but I am sure it had a purpose.

After 5 hours of a numb mouth I was finally able to eat. Tonight my mouth is sore but I was told to expect that. I am praying that tomorrow I will be back to normal.

If not, I guess I'll just have to eat soft foods like,
uuummmmm,
ice cream?!
Bummer!
Hugs,
Jeanette
