Week 1 down...

Well, we made it through our first week of school.

Last night was the Fall Sports Kick Off at school. They introduce all the players on the different teams and the marching band hits the field to do some of the show they have been working on.

So, at 6pm sharp the band hit the field in an effort to beat out the rain that we could see coming toward us. Right about the time they started to play, the rain came down......in buckets!! The poor kids got soaked AND it stopped raining for the night about 2 minutes after they left the field :}

After the introductions, some of the teams had scrimage games so we headed into the gym to watch the 3 volleyball teams scrimage. Edris found some friends to hang with so she was off socializing.

After the scrimage, Gabby and Edris stayed at school for the Back to School dance and Abby decided to head home with us to work on her homework. We gotta get her out more!!!

I picked up the girls from the dance and they were happy but tired. Both had a great time :}

This morning has already been a busy one. Gab & Edris are at school for practices already and Ab gets to go in about 40 minutes. Gabby has a parade in a small town north of us so we are headed there this afternoon. It is a gorgeous day today so it should be a perfect day for a parade. May even need a light jacket.

I love fall - windows are open and the breeze comes in!

Time for a shower. I actually ran a whole mile this morning - not something I normally do but wanted a quick workout to wake me up. I have had breakfast and need to get moving. Don't want to be late getting Ab to school....
