An Almost Perfect Day!

Another busy week has come and gone.

It is hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner.

Our house is decorated and looks pretty.

There is candy waiting to be made
and
a few gifts left to purchase.

The girls are gearing up for finals.
The teachers are piling on the homework in an attempt to finish up the semester.

The weather has turned cold.
We have yet to see any snow accumulation.
We are supposed to get 1/2 inch tomorrow.
We shall see!

Today was our churches yearly Christmas muscial.
The choir and orchestra put on a great show.
They ended with our favorite song.

Obviously, that is the Gaither boys singing but we just love the song!

Tonight we are enjoying watching Gabby freak out watching "War of the Worlds".
Add that to the Alabama win over Florida
and we had a GREAT day!

The coming week will see us making candy.....

turtles
peanut butter cups
chocolate caramel cups
chocolate covered pretzels
chocolate caramel pretzel sticks
peppermint bark

Most of it will be wrapped up and put away for Christmas eve and Christmas day with some going to our sweet neighbors.

I almost forgot!

We got to see Santa and Mrs. Claus at Walmart tonight!
