Let the softball season begin!

Softball tryouts are over
and we have TWO varsity players in our house this year!

Abby made the varsity team as a sophomore.
She is excited as is Gabby.
Now they can drive together to get to practice.

Abby got her drivers license last week (finally done carrying around her book to record her 50 hours she had to have!) and they have been tag teaming the car (because we refuse to buy a 4th car until we absolutely have to!)  Aren't we just terrible parents?!  We figured if we were going to have to take out a 2nd mortgage to cover yet another teenager on the car insurance, we were going to take the "cheap" way out!  For those of you without a child near driving age, count on at least $100 per month per child for car insurance.  EEEEEKKKKKK!  AND our insurance company won't allow two teenagers to be the primary drivers on the same car - which would be the cheapest vehicle. 

Anyway, I have a marathon day with....

Laundry
Dishes
Nails
Hair
Work
Dinner with my Mops girls
Make a lasagna for our "bake off" at Mops tomorrow.

I may make it to bed before midnight :}
