I have been a lazy bum today.
I earned it after this week at work.
Yes, we had another crazy come in.
Claiming he ordered a turtle cake.
He had not.
He wanted a cake with all ice cream and no cake.
So....
he will get his ice cream cake (yes, he had to prepay for it!).
But he won't be able to cut it unless he gets out his chain saw!
We had a full weekend planned with softball and graduation.
It started raining last night and has yet to let up so the softball games were cancelled.
Graduation (Gabby's boyfriend is graduating) has been moved inside so we won't be going to that as we don't have tickets. Gabby will go but we will just go out to dinner with them afterwards.
That means our Sunday has openned up and I will get a jump start on cleaning. It always helps on Mondays to get some of it done on Sunday. And I did not clean last week so it really needs it this week.
In softball news....
Dunlap beat East Peoria.
They handed them their 3rd loss of the season with a score of 11-3.
It was sweet to see as they lost to them last week 2-1.
We have 1 week left of regular season play before regionals start.
Gabby went 3 for 4 and threw a ball in from center field to Abby (catcher) so that Abby could tag out the girl trying to score. It was sweet!
One of the parents from EP said to tell Gabby "he still has goosebumps from that throw!"
She just beamed when we relayed that message.
Abby has been hitting the ball hard but has been hitting it right at people. She is working hard behind the plate as our other catcher is out for the season.
They are both looking forward to summer ball!
Time to rustle something up for dinner.
